$75 - $ 80 USD

Released: January 1st, 2005

Strengths: It is very light and compact.

Weaknesses: The only thing I found is I would forget to flip the pocket back so the computer could breathe. The pocket also makes it a little awkward and would be terrific if it could be removed temporarily. The strengths outweigh these weaknesses.

Why would you get one?

This has been one of the best portable computer cases I've ever owned. The best part is that is actually holds all of my cables in the small side pocket. It condensed my previous backpack down to a small carrying case. One of my concerns is that is would overheat – but that has not been a problem as long as I move the pocket out of the way from my PowerBook 17. The elastic straps have stood up to my constant removing and reinstalling. IÕm a heavy user - my computer is on more than 14 hours a day, using my computer at home and at work. It only takes seconds to get it out of the bag and put it back in. IÕve had the tekstyl for about a year and the bag still looks very new!

I would definitely buy this bag again for my next laptop.

Tip: I have a lot of cables that would get intertwined – I put them in Ziploc bags and have not had any trouble since.
